Horological Meandering: The 60's are the golden era for wristwatches.

There were some nice classical wristwatches before the 60s, there were some nice funky watches in the 70's, some nice watches were done since the 70's, but it's in the 60's that the fundamentals were set up. It was a time when watches were still no nonsens watches.

A. Lange & Söhne: The finishing of the Lange is superior

But it's very decorated, it's sort of a christmas tree while the Patek is more sober. Objectively, the Lange, subjectively, it's a matter of taste.
